38 warfighters emails sent to GAO on the 13th of October 2008. I will continue to post emails that GAO discounts for political reasons. If thousands of emails all saying the same thing are not relevent, then what is relevent to GAO? Please recal, GAO could not find the rules governing NSN approval during the 90's, so GAO disregards the thousands of specific emails, and mentions lubricant additive (s) over 50 times in their audit since GAO was unable to answer Rep Hoyer's specific and easy to understand request that governs millions of products currently in use. Militec provided GAO with the rules in the early 90's. The rules for NSN approval in the 90's that GAO could not find were orders being submitted from a variety of federal agencies and over time. This way, DLA could estimate the demand.
I hope the GAO IG can shed some light on Mr. Westheimer's mentioning of lubricant additives over 50 times has to do with the rules governing the appproval and cancellations of NSN's dating back to the early nineties. If GAO can't find out how NSN's were issued by DLA to millions of products during the nineties, how can these same folks be trusted on other audits?
I will be posting questions for the GAO IG to ask Allen Westheimer (the aircraft wiring expert) and William Solis (who reported me to the police over an email post on this Blog) that should help the IG if the IG is honest. Since the IG would not tell me if an investigation is warranted is troubling and is consistent with government employees acting like they are little kings protecting their kingdom.

Subject: Gun Oil, Deploying Unit
To who it may concern,
My name is Adam xx and Im currently assigned to 1-161st FA BN for my second tour to Iraq. I was in OIF 3 with 137th INF BN. Both are part of the Kansas Army National Guard. During my first tour in Iraq I never had a weapons malfunction from which I strongly believe was from excellent weapons maintenance. I could not have had that quality for any weapon had it not been for your product. Weapons are our lives over there and for that I ask your help. If I could afford it I would personally buy every soldier here a bottle of Militec oil. If you can in anyway shape or form help me and my fellow comrades so that they too can experience the same as myself on their first deployment, it would be greatly appreciated.
There is approximately 130 of us deploying in my assigned company. I personally prefer the 1oz, bottles as it can be kept virtually anywhere on you and taken on patrols. Thank you for any help or even response you can give me, and thank you for your ongoing support of the US Military!

My name is 1LT James xx. My National Guard unit recently came back from
Iraq and we ditched our CLP for Miltech. I am really not sure how we were able to get it. My supply guys must have worked some magic since the government won't buy it. It really kept the sand out and our weapons working.
I believe it can help save lives in the military. Now I need some more for myself and fellow soldiers at home. Can you send me 10 of the 1oz. bottles? Those are about perfect for our cleaning kits. I am instructing other soldiers from the unit to do the same. I understand you are trying to get a government contract for your product. I really hope you can. Your product really works. Can you really send it for free? You guys are awesome! God Bless!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for creating such a quality dry lubricant. As soldiers, our lives depend on products such as yours. We know that your product is top of the line. Would it be possible for you to send a some of your product to our Company, it would be greatly appreciated. I am a Gunner in an M1A2 SEP tank and a gunner on an 1114, and we have 2 infantry platoons attached to us. We would need a big supply if you are able to send it. Every soldier carries at least 2 weapons and the NCO's usually have 3 to include their 9mm's. So here is a break down of what we have.
105 soldiers
With at least 200 weapons of various calibers.
We are finding out rust is a major problem besides the sand this time of the year.

You happily sent it and it saved our lives. While i was watching other weapon systems such as a .50 cal, 2 MK-19's, and a M240-B go down from overheating and jamming up due to the LSA and GMD and Breakfree and CLP that the Army issued us, and this was while we were in the middle of a firefight. However, I had continued to fire over 500 rounds from my .50 cal because it was lubed up with Militec-1. I never had a jam or miss fire and it never gummed up or slowed in firing. It was amazing and to this day i will still tell everyone about Militec-1. Another reason i am writing is that since i have been back home and went to work at my Sheriffs department as a deputy, i have been telling other deputies about Militec-1, its advantages and what it did for me in combat. I have strongly recommended it for all my military and

Brad,
I would like to thank you for your wonderful product. I have returned from my OIF-IV deployment in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. I can say A Company 3/103 Ar used this product exclusively on all of our weapons such as: M16A4, M16M4, M249, M240B, 9MM, M2 .50 CAL, M240 (tank) MK-19, Mossberg 500. We were caught in many firefights with the insurgents and Militech never left us down irregardless of the weather conditions. I would like to use this product now since I am at home with my new unit. I know we won’t fire as much as we did there but I want to institute your product on my stateside weapons. My unit is HHC 4/103 INF and we have 200 soldiers here. I would greatly apprecitate it if I could have some to show the soldiers who did not deploy what a wonderful product this is. A case of each would be sufficient for the unit if you can do this. A supply of that number would last us for years here in the states.

Brad, Thanks a million for what you are doing for the soldiers! I've never seen someone post instructions to call them at home, so they could send an expensive product to someone for free. It's people like you that make this country great! Thanks again! I am a Plt Ldr in a 180 person company of National Guard soldiers, about half of which are voluntarily redeploying. These soldiers are also the folks who make
America great. Our supply Sgt told me he would try to order Militec, but he wasn't sure if our state would have funding for us as it's the end of the year,etc,etc... I use Militec on my personal weapons and my city issued sidearm at my civilian job, and I am very impressed with it's performance. I applaud you for making a product that a) works as well as it claims to, and b)
has the potential to save lives of American soldiers and police officers. Whatever you would be willing to send would be greatly appreciated and put to good use in the upcoming time we will be deployed.
We would also be able to condition the weapons while we are in training, so they will work when lives are depending on their function and reliability. Again, thanks for being such a big supporter of the troops and for being a true American patriot.

Brad,
My name is Sergeant xx from the 4th BCT, 82 ABN DIV. My battalion returned from Iraq in January and are training to return in a few months. While I was over there last time I got a hold of 2 bottles of militec oil I shared it with my squad. I did not have one malfunction even when the conditions were harsh. It it also worked great on our M-249. I'm not sure what it is but you have a great product. I looked here to see about getting more bottles of militec oil, the little 1 oz. bottles. The page says free, is that true if it is could I get 40 bottles for my platoon. If not E-mail me back and I will purchase what I can afford. I was wounded by an IED and lost my oil (ha, ha) but I am alive and well. Just wanted to say thanks, and we appreciate your commitment and generosity to our soldiers playing in the giant sand box on the other side of the pond!

I'd trust my life to it's use. I fire an M249. A weapon known for it's jamming problems, yet since applying Militec-1, I've jammed only once, but that was firing blanks, which can be problematic at times. I've never jammed using your product with live ammunition! That's unprecedented for an M249! Especially since it jammed all the time at the time when I was first issued the weapon. Again I that you for the product, your support of the troops and your generous spirit.

Hello,
I am getting ready for my second deployment to Iraq. I religiously used your product during my last deployment; it kept my equipment in top condition in the harsh environment. I do believe militec-1 saved my life more than once.
The unit I will deploy with has never heard of militec-1 and does not understand its abilities. If you could send some bottles I am sure my supply sergeant will order large quantities through the supply system.
I will be traveling and not have a stable address so if you could mail the bottles to my home I will be able to get them from my wife and into the hands of the soldiers.
I am looking for:
1 case of 16 oz bottles
1 case of 4 oz bottles
Please send to

Afghanistan and i wrote to you concerning a sample of Militec-1.
I have strongly recommended it for all my military and
> sheriff Dept friends. However i have run out of the supply of the samples that were given to us while we were there in
afghanistan, and i was hoping you could send anopther sample so i could share it with the fellow deputies here. Thank you for your help and thanks again for developing a product that will help save the lives of the soldiers. WOuld it be possible for you to send another sample to me at "
201 West Spence Street Sulphur Springs, Texas 75482".

I’m requesting a case of the 1 oz bottles. I’ve used your product in Iraq with exceptional results. I’ve been reassigned to a new unit and they don’t have your product. I’ve been in the US Army for 13 years and now consider your product to be the standard, nothing else comes close! Thank you for your support, your product is a life saver !

> I do sincerely apologize for the extended lack of contact with you. Let's just say that I have been wrapped up with the bullies on the playground. I am extremely plased to report that your shipment has helped us in extremely dire situations to send those bullies to the principal's office. It has also saved my life and the life of my men on multiple occasions. Believe me, if I could send you pictures of the terrain that we are operating in, you would understand. I do, unfortunately, have to ask you for another shipment. We have not received one since the beginning of April so it gos without saying that we are running low. I forbid my men from using any other product on their equipment (even if it is unit-issued) due merely to the fact that we have tested them and they failed, some at critical points in time. I will also be needing a pretty good amount on this shipment if possible. My company has now issued us nearly twice as many weapons, primarily heavy machine guns, as well
> as vehicles due to a change in mission. it would be greatly appreciated if you could send us four cases of the large bottles (trust me, it will be put to good use), and two cases of the personal-sized tubes. I am now in a position to support many more people than before. This is the reason for the increase in the volume that I am requesting. I can promise you this in return. If your product does for these men and women HALF of what it has done for me, they too will become lifetime loyalists as I have to your company. Thank you for your time, and please expect a package from us due to your already generous shipment.

Subject: What a product
Brad, I just came back from a 1.5 year tour of Baghdad as a Infantry Squad Leader and Platoon Sergeant. I am with the B Company, 3/297th Infantry of the Alaska National Guard. One of our soldiers, a police officer from Kodiak, Alaska, gave all of us a bottle of Militec while we were still in training in the desert of Texas. All of used it and by the time we got to Iraq, our whole company had requested lots of Militec lubricants. We conducted well over 1,000 combat patrol missions and manned defense perimeters towers. We survived numerous sand storms and wind storms. Your product was in all our weapons all the time. I’ve been in the military for 20 years now and I’ve never been more impressed by a lubricant. All most of us had to do was air blow our rifles and it was back to being clean. We couldn’t do without it.
I’m back in Alaska now and looking forward to trying your product in the subfreezing temperatures. We don’t use CLP in the extreme cold due to it freezing the bold to weapon. We have been looking for an alternative and I know our armorer is now ordering your product exclusively. Well, he better because we won’t use anything else.
I just started putting Militec on my personal weapons and then I’m going to put lots of rounds through them. I just want to impress my sons. I keep telling them that I’m very excited to clean my weapons now with this product and the amazing way it keeps equipment functional and clean. They think I’m a little combat stressed.
Thank you for supporting us and our troops. Thank you for a great life saving product.
SFC Will xx

>I would like to request a small supply of militec in the 1oz bottle. I would like to provide for the 25 people in my platoon. The bigger bottles would be wonderful as well for in garrison. I use militec exclusively on my personal weapons back home and have been using it on my rifle here in Kosovo and it stands up to the extreme cold with no problems. I received some before my deployment and my squad was using it in the summer heat of
Fort Hood Texas and now in the cold of the Balkans. It has become very popular with my troops and we use it instead of the clp that comes with our otis cleaning kits. I am trying to get our supply section to order via nsn as well.
